FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your Questions, Answered
ARE YOU QUALIFIED AND FULLY INSURED?
The answer is YES to both. I am a fully qualified Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist, which is accredited by ThinkTree. I also have a VTCT accredited qualification in Swedish Massage. I am a member of three governing bodies The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) The Guild of Holistic Therapists and ThinkTree. All of which are committed to ensuring that all of their members offer the best levels of service possible, are ethical in their approach and are always looking to raise the standards within the industry.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY MOBILE SERVICE?DOÂ YOU HAVE A FIXED LOCATION?
I work purely on a mobile basis. I visit clients' homes (or workplace if allowed) to provide Swedi- Sport, Sports or Swedish Massage Treatments. I want to work with those people who are unable to get out and about or who are looking for a treatment when other facilities are closed. With this in mind, I do not currently have the facilities for clients to come to me.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?
Geographically.. Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas (such as Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Deanshanger, Buckingham, Newport Pagnell). I would consider travelling further, but may have to charge a little extra for the fuel and travel. Please contact me if you have any questions.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT?
The area will need to be clear of obstructions and safe for both me and you to walk around. The area, ideally, will need to be quiet and free from interruptions as we will need to do a consultation as well as the massage.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?
We will have an initial chat on the phone about your needs and any issues, but I will complete an initial consultation to make sure I can treat you effectively and I am clear about your needs and expectations. We will discuss what to expect and the benefits of the treatment.
I HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION, CAN I STILL HAVE A MASSAGE TREATMENT?
The honest the answer is maybe and possibly... We will need to discuss your personal circumstances and treat you as an individual. It is possible that I provide a massage but not for certain areas. If there is any doubt, your safety is my number one concern. Therefore, I may have to ask for confirmation from the GP that it is safe to massage you. Please contact me prior to making an appointment if you have any concerns. We can also cover this in our initial telephone consultation
WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE FOR A MASSAGE TREATMENT?
All you need to provide is the space to work. I will bring the equipment, towels, lotions and oils.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY MASSAGE TREATMENT?
I accept all major credit cards and have contactless payment on the go. I can also take cash if you wish.
WHAT HOURS CAN I BOOK?
I only offer clients evening and weekend appointments only, working when others may be closed. This means most weekday appointment are from 6.30pm onwards and weekends are dependent on availability. Please give me a call or drop me email me with the date and time you are looking for and I will see if I can make something work. This cannot be guaranteed, but I will see if I can help.
I WANT TO BOOKÂ YOU, BUT I AM NOT SURE WHAT TREATMENT TO PICK.
This is not a problem, feel free to email or call me using the details on the contact me page and I will go through the options with you.
DO YOU HAVE A LOYALTY SCHEME?
Yes I do, just like your favourite coffee shops I offer a stamp card, that once full will get a free massage. You also get an extra stamp for any customers you refer to me. (As always T&C apply)
I HAVE A QUESTION THAT IS NOT LISTED ABOVE.
Contact me via email or call me if you have any questions at all. You may get my voicemail, but leave a name, number and any message and I will call you back as soon as I can. I aim to answer all emails and calls the same day, however, will be after 4.30pm.
